The public is invited to the FREE Indian cultural celebration at Piazza Carmel on Friday, September 27 from 6 – 9 p.m. in the Food Court near Royal India restaurant.
You will enjoy performances from the award-winning Zor, UC San Diego’s (UCSD) premier Bollywood Fusion dance team and food sampling from Royal India!
You can also get a free Bindi Jewel mark on your forehead and learn about the history of this decorative mark worn by Hindu woman.
A Henna artist will apply free tattoos during the event and at dusk you can watch a free Bollywood movie under the stars.
The movie, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” (rating age 13+), is a story about three friends on an adventurous road trip party in Spain where they learn lessons about themselves and each other that changes them forever.
Piazza Carmel will provide seating in the event area but people can also bring their folding chairs.
No reservation is needed for this FREE Indian cultural celebration.
